สอง is the neutral, everyday numeral for “two.” The usual counting pattern is “noun + สอง + classifier.” For example, รถสองคัน means “two cars,” and เด็กสองคน means “two children.” If the item is already clear from context, the noun may be omitted, as in เอาสองอัน, “I'll take two.” To express an ordinal, use ที่สอง, meaning “second.” In time expressions, ตีสอง means 2 a.m., บ่ายสองโมง means 2 p.m., and สองทุ่ม means 8 p.m.
