มิถุนายน

มิถุนายน is the standard Thai name for June. It is used in everyday conversation as well as in calendars, news, schedules, and official documents. It commonly appears with เดือน (“month”) as เดือนมิถุนายน. In dates, the day normally comes before the month name, as in วันที่ 5 มิถุนายน (“June 5”). The common written abbreviation is มิ.ย. June has 30 days.

Caution

มิถุนายน is the name of the month June, not a period of six months. “Six months” is หกเดือน.
