รถจักรยาน consists of รถ, referring to a vehicle, and จักรยาน, meaning “bicycle.” The shorter จักรยาน has the same meaning and is extremely common in conversation. Use ขี่รถจักรยาน or ขี่จักรยาน for “ride a bicycle.” ปั่นจักรยาน emphasizes pedaling or cycling as an activity. Like other vehicles, bicycles are counted with the classifier คัน. For example, รถจักรยานหนึ่งคัน means “one bicycle.”
Usage

Caution
