It often appears with intensifiers, as in ฟินมาก and ฟินสุด ๆ. The form ความฟิน refers to the feeling of bliss or intense satisfaction. Some dictionaries also record a slang sense meaning “to finish,” but จบ and เสร็จ are the normal words for finishing or being finished. For present-day learners, the pleasure and satisfaction sense is the important one.
