Explanation

ที่เดิม is formed from ที่, “place,” and เดิม, “original” or “previous.” Its central idea is a location that is unchanged from an established earlier reference point. Depending on context, it can mean where something originally was, the same place used last time, or a usual location. Although it is a noun phrase, it frequently functions as a location in sentences, as in อยู่ที่เดิม, “be in the same place,” and เจอกันที่เดิม, “meet at the usual place.” It is common and neutral in everyday Thai.

Usage
