As a verb, เช็ค is followed directly by its object, as in เช็คข้อมูล (“check information”), เช็คราคา (“check the price”), and เช็คสภาพรถ (“inspect a vehicle’s condition”). It is very common in conversation and routine workplace communication. A financial cheque is commonly counted with the classifier ใบ, as in เช็คหนึ่งใบ (“one cheque”).
